Tom moved from Manhattan 10 years ago, just as Charlottesville was proclaimed “best small town in America” and as the rebirth of Downtown was beginning. With a background in marketing, he was keenly curious about his new hometown. His knowledge of unique products drew him to the fine homes, land, and lifestyle of the area. Tom has become an astute observer of the traditions and history.
And he’s a savvy source of what’s happening now and into the future: City neighborhoods going through dynamic change; a major locavore movement taking root; and the intellectual resources of a major research university sparking robust entrepreneurship and innovation.
If you see dirt flying and structures rising, check with Tom. He is always ready to introduce newcomers to this “one of a kind” place as well as help long timers rediscover their home.
